We love Mother India very much. She is our mother, and we are all her children. Though we differ in colour and fragrance, we are all flowers of the same garden, i.e., India.

This motherland of ours is dear to us. The gurgling water flowing through it is dear to us. The fields swaying gladly and the wind rustling around are very dear to us.

The dazzling white Himalayas, which reach up to the high sky, are also dear to us. We cherish our Vindhya and Sahyadri ranges.

We also cherish the rivers Ganga and Jamuna. We Indians gave the world the message that all people are equal. So the virtuous children of our motherland are loved by all.

We thus bow down with respect to our beloved Mother India and hold the tricolor. Our national pride will be high in honour forever. We also take a pledge to protect the integrity and freedom of our motherland.
