Day 259/365 : Spend it wisely or pay the price.

Every person has a dream, but often those dreams fade because of distractions. Distractions are like weeds in a garden. If you water the weeds, the flowers will never grow. In the same way, if you give more time and energy to things like endless scrolling on your phone, gossip, or procrastination, your goals will slowly lose strength. Starving distractions simply means cutting down the unnecessary activities that take you away from what truly matters.
Feeding your goals, on the other hand, is about giving consistent effort and focus to the things that help you move forward. Imagine a student preparing for exams. If they spend two hours studying and then four hours on social media, the distraction is being “fed” more than the goal. But if the student chooses to cut down phone time and instead spends those hours revising and practicing, the goal is fed, and results naturally follow. Small daily choices create the big difference.
Life rewards those who know how to protect their focus. Whether it’s fitness, career, or learning a new skill, energy goes where attention flows. If you pour your energy into your dreams, they will grow stronger each day, while distractions will slowly disappear.
