Day 298/365 : Chasing approval makes you weak. Chasing purpose makes you unstoppable.

Chasing approval makes you weak. Chasing purpose makes you unstoppable.

Many people spend their lives trying to win the approval of others. They shape their choices, their work, and even their dreams around what people will like or accept. But when you live this way, your strength and happiness depend on outside opinions. If people praise you, you feel good, but if they criticize or ignore you, you feel defeated. This constant cycle of approval-seeking can make you lose touch with who you really are and what you truly want in life.

When you focus on purpose, everything changes. Purpose means knowing why you are doing something and what deeper value it adds to your life and to others. For example, imagine a teacher who chooses teaching not because it is the most praised or glamorous job, but because their purpose is to help children grow and learn. Even if society doesn’t always admire the profession or the pay is less, the teacher feels unstoppable because they are aligned with something bigger than public opinion.

Chasing purpose gives you inner strength and clarity. It makes you resilient when challenges come because you are not trying to please everyone. Instead, you are guided by your mission, and that mission fuels your confidence, persistence, and joy.
