Day 143/365 : Anyone can start. Few finish. Be the one who crosses the line.

Anyone can start. Few finish. Be the one who crosses the line.

Many people have big dreams and ideas, but not everyone follows through to the end. Starting something, whether it’s a new job, project, or goal, is the easy part. The excitement and motivation at the beginning can make it feel like the journey will be smooth. However, as obstacles appear and challenges arise, many give up or lose focus. This is when true determination is tested—it’s easy to start, but it takes real commitment and perseverance to finish what you began.

Take the example of someone who decides to run a marathon. At the start, they feel energized and enthusiastic, setting a goal to cross the finish line. But as the miles pile up, their muscles start to ache, and exhaustion sets in. The easy choice is to quit, to stop right there, and to find an excuse. But the ones who succeed, the ones who cross the finish line, are the ones who push through the tough moments. They keep moving, even when it feels impossible, because they know that finishing is where the true reward lies.

In life, the same principle applies. Success doesn’t come from the initial excitement or the first step—it’s about sticking with it, even when things get hard. The real achievement comes when you push through the struggles and continue toward your goal, no matter how challenging it becomes. Keep going, and you’ll be one of the few who finish strong.
