(a) What did the King see on Raman’s board? 

Ans: The King did not see anything on Raman’s board.

 

(b) Had Raman really drawn a cow eating grass? 

Ans: No, Raman had not drawn, a cow eating grass.

 

(c) Can a cow walk away from a picture?

Ans: No, a cow cannot walk away from the picture.

 

3. Retell the above story in the form of a joke.

Ans: In a lighthearted encounter, a messenger informs Raman that the King is looking for him. Lost in his own world, Raman dismisses the messenger. Shortly after, the King himself appears, curious about Raman’s activities. Raman says that he was drawing a picture, and when asked to show it, he presents a seemingly empty canvas. Confused, the King questions Raman’s drawing. With a mischievous grin, Roman explains he drew a cow eating loads of grass. The absence of grass and the cow is explained by the cow having eaten all the grass before leaving. The King bursts into laughter, appreciating Roman’s whimsical explanation.
