The population of birds in several cities is falling. What could be the reason for that? Their number should increase again.
Ans: With an increasing population, trees are cut down to construct buildings. Hence, birds don’t find a place to build nests. Also, pollution and climate change are the other reasons. To increase their numbers, we must plant more trees around us.

Ans: Ants use sand and twigs to make anthills.
(2) Some doves and some pigeons have left the jungles and have come to live in areas where people live. Some mice have also done so. What could be the reasons for that?
Ans: Birds like doves and pigeons get enough food and water in areas where people live. So they have left the jungle. Some mice also take shelter by digging burrows in public areas to get food and water.
