1. Why did it become impossible to feed everyone in the family by farming alone?

Ans: It became impossible to feed everyone through farming alone as the number of people in the family grew. It was hard to employ as well as feed everyone, so people had to migrate to places where they could find work. Trade and other occupations began to grow, as did the cities.

 

2. Why does man migrate?

Ans: Man migrates for jobs, occupations, or education.

1. Big families were scattered.

Ans: As the family grew, it became impossible to feed everyone through farming alone. Trade and other new occupations developed. People migrated to places where they could find work. Hence, big families were scattered into many small families.

 

2. Relations with neighbours become friendly.

Ans: Apart from our family, we also have daily contact with our neighbours as we live in the same locality. We need each other’s help to solve problems of garbage, security, water, and electricity. In times of need, it is our neighbours who help us until our relatives can reach us. Due to the help we give each other, our relations with our neighbours have become friendly.
