Journey in a Boat

During my last summer vacation, I went to visit my friend’s house in Gujarat. He promised me a boat trip. One fine morning, we boarded a boat. The river was glittering with the bright rays of the sun. Since it was a windy day, our boat drifted along by itself. As the boat approached, I feasted my eyes on the lovely sights on the banks of the river. The village boys were bathing, the women were washing clothes and utensils, and fishermen were catching fish. I was overjoyed to see the floating cloudlets. My friends were singing as we were enjoying our time. A gentle breeze soothed us. Everything around us was bright and beautiful. Toward the evening, we came back home. The journey left a lasting impression on my mind.

The reason why you like it

Ans:

‘My Favourite Place’

My favourite place is my grandparents’ house. It is located in a village. It only has five rooms, but it is very well constructed.

The walls of the house are painted white, and from inside, it is very colorful. My grandfather personally took part in building this house, and he made this house with so much love.

This house also has a backyard where my grandma grows fruits and vegetables. I have always been more excited to spend my summer holidays at this place.

I spend all my summers there, and that is the best time of my life. I play in the yard, climb the trees to pick fresh fruits, and eat fresh vegetables. I also help my grandma plant seeds in the garden.

Indeed, I enjoy a lot being at my grandparents’ place, so this has to be my favourite place.
