two bulls – tied together by a rope – a pile of hay a little distance away from them – each tries to go ahead to reach the hay – both fail – one bull tells the other to move together with him – the other agrees – they reach the hay
Unity Is Strength
Two bulls in a field were tied together by a rope. There was a pile of hay a little distance away from them. Each tried to move ahead in order to reach the hay. Since the other bull stayed behind, the bull that moved forward could not reach the hay.
Finally, one bull told the other to move along with him. The other side agreed. They reached the hay and enjoyed a good meal.
Moral : There is strength in unity.
