Dear Aman,

I met Rahul this morning and he told me you’ve been diagnosed with dengue. I was really worried to hear this.

I really wanted to come and visit you in Nashik, but my grandfather isn’t well and I need to stay here to help at home. I hope you understand.

Please don’t worry too much. Dengue is serious, but with proper treatment and rest, people recover well. Just follow all the doctor’s instructions, take your medicines on time and drink lots of fluids. Your parents are there to take care of you and you’ll be fine soon.

Once you’re fully recovered, come and stay with us for a week. The change will do you good and we can spend time together. We have so much to catch up on!

Mom also sends her best wishes. She says you should rest completely and not worry about school or anything else right now.
