Dear Dad,

Thank you for your letter and the money you sent. We are happy to know that you are keeping well and are in good health.

Dad, I would like to make a special request to you and hope you will agree to it. Rahul, my classmate and good friend, lost his father last year. His elder brother is still looking for a job and because of this, the family is facing financial problems. As a result, Rahul is unable to pay his school fees. The school has informed him that he may have to leave if the fees are not paid within a month.

Rahul is a hardworking and intelligent student. He has often helped me with my studies whenever I needed support. It would be very sad if he had to discontinue his education because of a lack of money.

I want to help by paying his fees and buying a few essential books for him. I am willing to use all my pocket money for this purpose, but it is not enough. Therefore, I request you to send me Rs 300 as soon as possible and Rs 100 every month from next month. This will help Rahul continue his studies without any interruption. We will feel happy knowing that we have helped a deserving student achieve his dreams.
