Sub: Complaint regarding unhygienic conditions in the school canteen

Respected Sir/Madam,

On behalf of all students of Class IX-B, I am writing to you about the sad condition of the school canteen. The manager does not seem to care about cleanliness at all. There are food stains on tables and chairs. The floor remains unswept for days. Even the glasses for drinking water are dirty. We do not feel like eating in the canteen at all. We are not allowed to go out during lunch break, nor can we eat in the classroom. We really don’t know what to do.

We hope to have a clean place to have our lunch during the break. We request you to look into the matter personally and do the needful.
