Sub: Complaint regarding theft at my residence

Respected Sir,

I wish to inform you that a theft took place at our house last night. My family and I had gone out to watch a movie, and during our absence, some thieves entered the house after breaking open the main door.

The following items were stolen:

1. HP Laptop worth Rs. 55,000/-

2. Cash amounting to Rs. 25,000/-

3. Gold jewellery (chains, rings and earrings) worth Rs. 40,000/-

4. Samsung DVD player worth Rs. 8,000/-

I request you to kindly investigate the matter and take the necessary steps to trace the stolen items and catch the offenders at the earliest.
