I love to wait for the postman. The one who comes to my building is a very friendly person. Everyone knows him. He wears a khaki uniform and carries a bundle of letters in a bag. We see him in every season.

The postman brings not only letters but also telegrams, money orders, and registered articles. Sometimes he brings parcels. He brings us good news and, sometimes, bad news. Even though there are many courier services today and more and more mail is sent over the Internet, the postman still remains an important figure.

The postman is the government employee with whom we are most in contact. He is of great service to society.
