Republic Day is celebrated on January 26th every year. It is a very important day for India. On this day, the Constitution of India came into effect.

In schools and cities, there are flag hoisting ceremonies and parades. People sing the national anthem and remember the freedom fighters who helped India become independent.

We feel proud to be Indian on Republic Day. It teaches us to respect our country and its laws.
