My Pet

Most of my friends have pets at home. I, too, have a pet. His name is Snowy. He is a small white dog with soft white fur and a very wet tongue. He is very playful. We often roll on the floor and have a lot of fun.
I have taught Snowy a few tricks. He can shake hands. He can stand on his hind legs. He can bring in the newspaper. When I praise him, he wags his tail joyfully.
Snowy is a good watchdog. He growls and barks at any stranger who comes to the house. Snowy is very loyal and loving. When I come home, he jumps all around me, wagging his tail. Snowy is my favourite playmate. I love Snowy, and so do all my friends.

I have a pet cat named Ginger. She has soft orange fur and shiny green eyes. She is small, cute, and very playful.
Ginger likes to chase butterflies in the garden. She climbs trees quickly and hides in funny places. At home, she sleeps on my bed and purrs softly.
Every morning, I give her milk and fish. I brush her fur and keep her clean. She follows me around the house and jumps into my lap when she’s happy.
Ginger is a part of my family. She makes me smile every day. I love my pet very much and take good care of her.
