My Grandmother

My grandmother is a wonderful person. Her name is Shantadevi. Although she is 69 years old, she is very active. She can see well and walks without a walking stick. Her hair, though, is completely white.
She is the first to rise every morning. She performs puja and then prepares the tea. By then, mummy is up and takes charge of the kitchen. During the day, Granny does a lot of things, including cutting and sewing. At night, she tells us many interesting stories.
Whenever we fall ill, Granny looks after us. I do hope my grandmother lives forever.

My grandmother is very kind and loving. Her name is Noor Begum. She is old but very active. She wears simple clothes and always carries a warm smile.
My grandmother lives with us. She wakes up early and says her prayers. She helps my mother in small household chores. She tells me funny and wise stories from the past.
In the evening, we sit together and talk. Sometimes, she knits sweaters or sews clothes. She also teaches me old songs and poems that she learned as a child.
My grandmother loves me a lot. She gives me good advice and blessings. I love spending time with her. She is very special to me.
