Every young person is like a small plant that needs proper care and guidance. If left alone without direction, it may grow wild and unshaped. But with the right care, it can blossom beautifully and give joy to the world. In the same way, I too have been nurtured by many people who have moulded my life. Without their influence, I would not have become who I am today. I feel grateful to each one of them.

The first person who deeply influenced me is my mother. She was the one who first taught me about God and faith. She gave me strength by telling me that I should fear no one except God and that I should always turn to Him when in difficulty. Her love and wisdom built the foundation of my character.

Next were my teachers. From my early schooling till now, I have been blessed with teachers who guided me in different ways. The one I remember most is my English teacher in Class V, Mrs. D’sa. English was a subject I struggled with and because of that even my performance in other subjects was affected. But she made English simple, especially grammar and slowly built my confidence. She also introduced me to the world of reading. From then on, books became my closest companions. Today, reading is not only my hobby but also a source of knowledge and inspiration.

Another person who shaped me greatly was my grandfather. Though he visited us only sometimes, his presence was always special. He was a sportsman in his youth and taught me the value of fitness and games. From him, I learned table tennis, badminton and even chess. He also encouraged me to go for morning walks and jogging. His lessons made me realize that exercise is just as important as studies for a healthy and balanced life.

When I look back, my heart is filled with gratitude for all these people who moulded me. They shaped me with love, discipline and wisdom. I feel blessed to have had such guiding lights in my journey.
