One cannot possibly watch all the programmes being broadcast on TV. It is neither possible nor necessary. So, we have to choose carefully the programmes we wish to watch. I, too, have a few select shows that I enjoy following during the week.

One of my favourite programmes is called “Kaun Banega Crorepati” (KBC). It is aired on Sunday evenings, when I am usually at home. I first started watching this show with my family and it immediately caught my attention. Since then, I have been a regular viewer.

This programme is special because it not only entertains but also educates. Contestants from different parts of India participate and answer interesting questions on a wide range of topics. I enjoy learning new facts, understanding different perspectives and testing my own knowledge while watching the show. It makes me feel engaged and curious.

“Kaun Banega Crorepati” lasts about one hour, but during that time, the host explains everything in a simple and friendly way. The rules of the game, the lifelines and how each question is answered are clearly presented. The suspense and excitement keep the audience glued to the screen.

There are no dramatic actors or fictional stories here; instead, real people from different walks of life share their experiences and dreams. The show inspires viewers, shows the power of knowledge and highlights how determination and preparation can change lives.

For that hour, I feel a mix of excitement and learning, transported into a world of knowledge and human stories. I hope that someday I can also participate in a programme like this and test my knowledge on a big platform.
