The story of the fast-running horse who was defeated by the slow-running tortoise is a well-known story. The saying teaches us three things: first, one should not believe in shortcuts; second, one should not rest until one achieves one’s goal; and third, one should not underestimate rivals. In this competitive world, we must be totally vigilant, put in hard work, and make all our efforts or better efforts in order to excel others. ‘Slow and steady wins the race’ is not so relevant in this competitive world. In my opinion, “fast but perfect wins the race’, and slow remains far behind these days.
