Yesterday was Sunday. I woke up at 8 a.m. I brushed my teeth and had a bath. I had a hearty breakfast. Then I went out to play cricket with my friends. A one-day match had been planned, and the opposing team was strong. It was a 20-over match, and it was over by 2 p.m. The game was very exciting and ended in a draw.

I was very tired after the match. I had a late lunch and then took a nap. At 5 p.m., my friend Ninad came over, and we played chess. Later in the evening, we went out with my grandfather for a stroll. Grandpa is a very interesting person. He also has a great sense of humour. We enjoyed the walk thoroughly.

By 8pm, I was feeling terribly hungry. Mummy had prepared stuffed brinjals and kheer. After dinner, we watched some TV. I went to bed at 10 p.m., tired but happy.
