The Indian crow is a black bird with a grey head. It is seen all over the country. The crow is a very noisy bird. It caws harshly. It is very quick at stealing. especially shiny objects. It is very bold and can come right into the house to pick up shiny objects.

Crows eat trash and rotting food. In this way, they help reduce the dirt around us and thus prevent the spread of diseases. Crows also eat small creatures such as rats and bandicoots.

Although not very friendly, the crow is very much a part of our lives. Crows are early risers. You will hear them cawing first thing in the morning. By eating animal leftovers, crows keep the environment clean.
